As part of national Heritage Open Days the Hall will open for FREE to all visitors. As well as being able to see the fantastic historic rooms, many of which were redesigned by Sir Charles Barry in the 1850’s you will get a unique opportunity to meet the Housekeeper in the Victorian kitchen and use the spiral servant’s staircase. There is the permanent display of the Rachel Kay Shuttleworth Collection of textiles and the wooded park offers wonderful walks. Don’t forget to pop into the tearoom for a refreshing (and thoroughly indulgent) afternoon tea.
